When my wife and I came home from the hospital with our daughter back in 2003, we were completely surprised to find a Stork waiting to congratulate and welcome us home! We loved it so much that when we learned the local franchise was for sale, we bought it!

Before I bought my franchise, I called lots of Stork News Franchise Owners around the country. Obviously, some businesses were doing better than others, that is just the nature of business, as some business owners are better at marketing their business than others, but they all had one thing in common to say…”this is a happy business!”
After owning my Stork News Franchise for over 7 years, I have to say that I agree. People celebrate the birth of a new baby, and everyone is happy. I’ve only had one phone call in all of those years where I really didn’t want to talk to the person on the other end. I’m still not sure why she called. She was really grouchy, asked the price and hung up. Hey, stuff happens, right!
I’ve installed hundreds of Storks, and to only have 1 bad 15 second phone call…now that’s amazing! I love dealing with the many happy parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, and co-workers that call me wanting to surprise the new parents by welcoming them home in such a special way! (And guys…your wife will love your thoughtfulness!)
Flowers are nice as we all know…everyone sends them, but only one person (or one group of people) can send a Stork News Stork. The new parents will always remember who sent them such a special gift.
